Basscon Presents wasteLAND Returns to EDC Las Vegas

Attention, hardstyle-loving Headliners and fans of the heavier styles of hard dance: We’re going bigger, louder, and badder than ever at this year’s EDC Las Vegas.

The hardstyle and hard dance Basscon crew is once again reviving the infamous wasteLAND at EDC Las Vegas for three nights of heavy-hitting performances, mind-blowing special effects, and ear-rattling bass. Plus, this year we’re rolling out a completely brand-new stage design and scenic destination as Basscon lays waste to the ruins of ancient Egypt via a fresh theme. Experience a taste of what’s to come at wasteLAND this year in the video above.

Each year, the notorious wasteLAND hosts the genre’s most respected artists and welcomes hardstyle’s largest audiences and most dedicated fans, who travel from around the world to headbang the night away at EDC Las Vegas.

In 2016, Basscon transported EDC Las Vegas attendees to the city of San Francisco as wasteLAND featured a 250-foot-wide-by-73-foot-tall stage design of the city’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge. A massive crab descended upon the structure amid dozens of washed-up sea containers, shipwrecked boats and surging pyrotechnics. For the first time ever, wasteLAND synched the hardstyle sounds blaring from the stage to the fireworks displays above the festival for 10 minutes of sensory overload. This year, we’re bringing a colossal arsenal of surprises and sick sounds to wasteLAND. Bring your earplugs.

Stay tuned as we roll out more information and details regarding Basscon Presents wasteLAND at EDC Las Vegas, including full artist lineups and daily schedules.
