The Headbanging Is on: bassPOD Returns to EDC Las Vegas

Bass-heads, rejoice: Our beloved bassPOD is back in action at this year’s EDC Las Vegas. Presented by our bass-loving Bassrush team, the infamous bassPOD is a fully immersive design touting seven robot-like X figures that stand 60 feet tall, spewing massive flames high in the sky and displaying more than 600 lighting fixtures. This year marks the third and final run of the current bassPOD structure, so make sure you bang your head at the stage one last time.

Bassrush has evolved from a small niche of followers of the low end to an international phenomenon redefining bass culture around the world. Since its inception in 2002, Bassrush has produced sold-out North American tours with today’s biggest acts in the bass music circuit; has launched a successful record label, Bassrush Records, with releases covering all the various subgenres in bass music; and has hosted stages at prominent festivals like EDC Las Vegas, EDC Orlando and Beyond Wonderland.

Throughout the years, bassPOD has showcased legendary masters of the genre, as well as up-and-coming artists, setting the standard for what’s to come, celebrating the rich history of bass music, and continuously reinventing the scene. You can expect the heaviest of the heavy and the dirtiest of the dirty at this year’s bassPOD experience at EDC Las Vegas.

Stay tuned as we roll out more information and details regarding the bassPOD experience at EDC Las Vegas, including full artist lineups and daily schedules.
